Our Mission
The mission of State Line Children’s World is to provide a safe, nurturing environment for students that satisfies their needs, fosters their desire to learn, and encourages them to embrace diversity. We aim to do this through value sharing and by establishing a strong foundation for lifelong educational success.

Licensed by the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE), State Line Children’s World has been part of the Laurinburg community since 1979. Our program is committed to providing students with the highest quality education, maintaining a low student-teacher ratio, and providing the best in-service training available. All of our nationally accredited programs are structured under the Creative Curriculum, Teaching Strategies, as well as NC Pre-K regulations.

Our Philosophy
We believe that all children deserve to be active participants in the realization of their individual potential. Furthermore, we think that an educated and loving staff is crucial to maintaining a high quality early childhood education program. By investing in the community, we hope that Laurinburg is better able to provide for itself in the future. For us, school is primarily about children, families, the environment, and the broader world.
Program Overview
Our program focuses on four key areas: language acquisition, physical coordination, cognitive development, and social/emotional skill attainment. To stimulate development in these areas, students are exposed to developmentally appropriate phonics, STEM, Spanish, and social studies concepts during their play time. Moreover, our faculty communicates routinely to plan learning center time, outdoor activities, field trips, healthy meals, and rest periods.
Teacher Qualifications
Our teachers are:
● NC Certified in Birth to Kindergarten.
● Certified in Early Childhood Education.
● Qualified under Administrator III guidelines.
